Every year Amazon has a day of Amazon Prime Day deals, exclusively for Prime customers. For 2019, it’s on the 15th July, from noon, until the end of the 16th.
Currently costing £7.99 a month or £79 a year (or £3.99 a month/£39 a year if you’re a student) you get many benefits with Prime, but it’s still a chunk of money some people can’t justify.
Can you still get access to the Amazon Prime Day Deals without splashing out on Prime membership? Yes, you can.
Claim a 30-day trial
Amazon offer a 30-day free trial of Prime and, once you have it, you can access all the usual Prime features, including Prime Day. You can sign up for the trial only once, but this is based on your email address, so if you have multiple accounts then, theoretically, you can use those. Alternatively, a partner could sign up for one.
All you need for the trial is an Amazon account and, yes, you’ll need to supply debit or credit card details so that further payment can be taken if you continue using Prime after the 30-day period. Don’t worry, you can easily cancel the trial before this happens – you can cancel the trial straight away and still retain your trial membership for the full 30 days.
Here’s how to sign up for the trial:
- Head to the Prime Trial page
- Provide your payment details
- That’s it – you’re all signed up for Amazon Prime
Now enjoy your benefits. Including Prime Day.
