How can I win a BT Halo phone?

If you’re anything like me, juggling calls on your mobile and landlines is a royal pain. While everyone has my mobile number, if I try to take the call at home then chances are it will drop out halfway through because of poor reception.

We’re giving you the chance to win a BT Halo phone that can solve this and many other problems. Follow us on Twitter and you’ll be automatically entered!

In short, the BT Halo allows you to make and receive both mobile and landline calls with one device. Connect your mobile to the Halo base unit via Bluetooth, then plonk yourself on the sofa. You just have to stay within 10m of the unit.

If you subscribe to trueCall, BT’s nuisance caller blocking service, it will also prompt any callers who aren’t on your contacts list to names themselves before speaking to you. You then decide whether to accept or decline their call.

And for those times you just don’t want to be interrupted – perhaps a crucial football match – switch on Do Not Disturb and your phone won’t ring or light up.

Terms and conditions

The competition is only open to UK residents. Entrants under the age of 18 years must get permission from their parent or guardian to enter on their behalf.  Entrants must have followed the @bigtechquestion Twitter account by 8am on 1st August 2018.  We will choose the winner at random from all of our followers. If you win, you will receive the prize described. We won’t swap the prize for cash.

The winner will be contacted within seven days of the competition closing date. Prize fulfilment will be within 28 days from the date we receive the winner’s address. If we contact you to tell you that you’re a winner, but you don’t reply within a month, we will redraw the prize. 

We will use your name, address and any other details that you give us to run this competition, but we won’t provide them to anyone else without your permission.
