The Nintendo Switch console itself has no lights on it, relying on the display itself to indicate any relevant status.
However, the dock has a single LED on it. But what does it mean?

When this LED lights up green, it means that video output is being sent via the HDMI cable to a TV.
This LED is not related to charging, and will not go out when the console is fully charged.
