This Friday is Disney Plus Day, which is when Disney releases a large amount of new content, including recent cinema releases.
Disney+ have had free trials before, but this appears to be a thing of the past. The closest right now is £1.99 for a month of streaming, saving you £6. Sound good? You only have until Sunday to take them up on it, however.
As usual with this kind of offer, if you don’t cancel after the first month, then you’ll continue to be charged at the full rate of £7.99.

What new content is being added on Disney Plus Day?
Three film releases, one of which is new and exclusive to Disney+ and the others are recent cinema releases:
- Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings
- Jungle Cruise (previously available to buy on their Premier Access option – will now be available to stream for free with Disney+)
- Home Sweet Home Alone (a reimagining of Home Alone)
On top of this are a number of new TV shows (for example Dopesick, starring Michael Keaton), shorts (from Frozen, The Simpsons, Luca, Mickey Mouse, etc.) and a plethora of documentaries and trailers.
