Take screenshots on iPhone or iPad
If you have a device with a home button, then…
- Press and hold the top or side button.
- Immediately press the Home button, then release the top or side buttons.
If you don’t have a home button (eg the iPhone X) then…
- Press and hold the side button on the right side of your device.
- Immediately press the volume-up button on the left side, then release the buttons.
Where is my screenshot stored?
If you’re using iOS 11 or later, then you can find it in Photos > Albums > Screenshots.
On earlier versions of the OS, the screenshot will be saved to Photos > All Photos (or Photos > Camera Roll if you’re not using iCloud Photo Library).
